The Pokemon Company is bringing back its beloved pop-up store to London, and it’s open from April 14 through 16 as part of the Pokemon European International Championships. Fans will be able to purchase premium Pokemon merchandise and exclusive International Championships products not available elsewhere.
The official Pokemon Shop is the best place to get your hands on any and all Pokemon-related goods, from clothing and accessories to toys and game consoles. There’s something for everyone, with everything from plushies to dinnerware emblazoned with the beloved creatures.
You can also get a chance to demo new Pokemon games on Nintendo Switch. This includes the upcoming Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, which are both coming to the console in October.
If you’re planning to attend the event, it’s a good idea to book your time slot ahead of time. That way, you’ll be guaranteed to get in and out quickly without having to spend hours queuing.
Online reservations are now live for the Pokemon Pop-Up at ExCeL London, and you can book up to four slots per person. However, you should know that entry is only available during the first five days of the event and it’s recommended to arrive early if you want to have a shot at getting in.
Tickets for the Pokemon Pop-Up will cost £40 and include a limited edition TCG card, which is sure to be popular amongst players. You’ll also be able to buy other Pokemon-related goodies from the pop-up, including a TCG deck and an official International Championships patch.
Merchandise is expected to sell out in double-quick time, so it’s important to pick up your items as soon as they go on sale. The Pokemon Company also warned that there would be some items that would be out of stock, but they said they were working with a supplier to ensure that every item was covered.
In addition, the Pokemon Company has announced that they are launching a new virtual queuing system to make sure that all visitors can avoid the same issues as last year. This will allow customers to walk up and reserve a time slot before they arrive at the Pokemon Center, which will hopefully eliminate the chaos that plagued the store during its previous visits.
A number of fans attended the Pokemon Center during its initial visit to London back in the fall of 2019. They waited for up to six hours at a time in line to grab exclusive Pikachu shirts and bags. The pop-up even sold out of the coveted bowler hat Pikachu plush, which was supposed to be limited to just one week.
Luckily, the Pokemon Company has announced that the Pop-Up is returning for 2023’s Pokemon European International Championships. It will be at ExCeL London from April 14 to April 16. Thankfully, it’s a lot easier to reserve your timeslot than it was in 2019 — you can now book ahead of time on the Pokemon Center website! Pokemon Shop London
